Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19, 1965. She is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her role as the deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. After the seventh season Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's films roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick was born in New York City, the daughter of Patricia (nee Rosenwald), who was a speech instructor and educational/family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick V, an investor in venture capital. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick declares that she is Jewish and claims she goes to Passover seders.
